Press Release: Book Platfoorm Public Presentation in Yerevan



On January 16, 2013, Yana Genova, Director of Next Page foundation will hold a public presentation on the achievements and the future plans of the "Book Platform" project in the year of the 500th anniversary of Armenian Printing. The event will be followed by a reception at the venue.

The event will be attended by managers and representatives of the Ministries of Culture, Education and Science, Diaspora, Foreign Affairs, EU Delegation to Armenia, members of the National Publishers Association, Armenian Library Association, National Booksellers Association, Writers Union of Armenia, Union of Translators of the CIS and Baltic States and other stakeholders from the areas of education, science, book industry, intellectual property, copyright and related rights.

THE BOOK PLATFORM is a project of Next Page Foundation in cooperation with National Publishers Association (Armenia), Georgian Book Publishers Association (Georgia), Publishers Forum-Lviv (Ukraine). The project is funded by the European Union and is implemented in frames of the Eastern Partnership Culture Programme in support of the role of culture in the region's sustainable development and promotion of regional cooperation among public institutions, civil society, cultural and academic organisations in the Eastern Partnership region and with the European Union.
